Re: RPGNET Thread

Another thread popped up, asking people if they prefer Supers! or MHR. DarkPaladin and I have posted to it, but I think some people working on the revised version need to pop in and set some people straight on how powers work. The OP doesn't seem to get how versatile the powers system is, and I fear my attempts at setting him straight isn't getting through....

Sorry, I thought you had linked to an earlier one the same person stated. Should have checked before posting. Still, some of the people working on Revised should really pop in and say something. It might help

I'm impressed at how well Supers! is holding up against the much more polished and high budget Marvel Heroic Roleplaying in that thread. I know I like Supers! a lot better (I'm not a big fan of the obscene number of various die types you end up rolling in that game) but I had no idea how widespread its support was.

Granted, it's probably not really the system for the guy who wants to stat out exactly what piece of equipment Iron Man has ever used.

Hey, I've been in there! :-)

I too am impressed by how well SUPERS! is holding up, BTW. I'd like to think this bodes well for RED.

All the best,

Dragonfly

RED is going to be a good time and I am hoping that everyone here hops onto a couple of sources to keep up to date as well as share thoughts on what is going on.

I am starting to think that we are really building an awesome community of folks that love this system and want to drive it till the wheels fall off!

Regards,
Walt
