Looking to join a game
Hi!
I would really like to join a PBP game, like, say, the Age of Aquarius going on here, but I don't want to disrupt something that's already got a nice groove going on.
Anyway, feel free to respond to this post if there's a game out there I could hop in on.

Actually, we're coming to a good hopping on point as the warehouse scene is slowly coming to a conclusion (okay, I made that safe way too tough!!!).
If you'd like to create a character, I'm sure we can get him or her involved shortly.

Sure, I can make up a character over the weekend and be ready to play next week, would that work?
What power level/dice total should I build toward, and what type of character/powers might the group be looking for?

Maxtraveler, builds so far have been at 21 points (I know, weird, but it was what most submitted characters were at). No rankings above 6d. As far as type, the three that we currently have are all in the "energy controller" category. One of the beauties of Supers is that each character still looks and plays differently. If you're looking for something different though, there's always room for a strong brawler or someone with special movement powers.
Gramvandle, feel free to join in as well. Maybe I put you two through a very quick scene before heading off to the big action in the Financial District.
Everyone be sure to skim through the PBP Supers thread to find out the set up (Basically it's Monday, Feb. 5, 1962. You're all in San Francisco and a major earthquake has struck, just so happening to coincide with a planetary alignment. Oh, and you suddenly realize you have super powers as well!)

Okay, cool, I will do some reading to catch up.
Another question: do the players have to "roll" dice using Invisible Castle?
I've been in a couple other games, and in those, the GM just rolls the dice for the players after we state our intentions, and I was always fine with that.

That's fine, I definitely used to do it that way. But I also have found a lot of enjoyment as a PBP player using invisible castle (if anything, it keeps me honest). If you want, I'll just use invisible castle for any player who wants (and I'll let all the other players know if they want me to do that as well).

Also, you're probably fine just reading up to the setup on the Pbp Supers thread. Don't feel too compelled to read the IC and OOC threads (unless you want). I'll also give a good recap as you are joining in.

We definitely could use an extra hero! Same stuff as before applies. We're hopefully wrapping up the main action in the warehouse and then moving on to the Financial District, where your character can certainly join in the action seamlessly.
