The Amazing Turtle!
So last session the heroes (The Protectors of New York) went up against first a group of supervillains looting during a freak blizzard in August and then after that they battled Ravage V, easily the most feared villain assembly in the Zenith Universe.
At the end of the 2nd fight Spangle was dead as well as Dragonfly. It was a dark, dark thing.
The players of Dragonfly had an idea. One of the villains they had captured was a power suit calling himself the Amazing Turtle... What if he was given a chance to reform as a hero and be a PC?
I could hardly say no. So here's a more in-line with the rest of the players build. Note the "Slow" disad is directly related to the Grubman initiative idea that my players LOVE!

Cool character! Watch out for that 8d howitzer! Maybe someday we'll see some art for this one, hmmm?

Re: The Amazing Turtle!
The Turtle (sorry, the Amazing Turtle!) is a really cool character so far. The character sheet bring up a few questions for me, which maybe I should post elsewhere, but:
1) When you specialize in a skill, you also get to keep the "regular" rating you bought for the rest of the skill? So, Turtle has Tech 3D as well as Robotics 4D? I like it, but I wasn't sure if that's how it worked.
2) You can give the "Normal" Disad to a character that has "Powers", as long as they are all devices? Could I give that Disad to characters who only non-device "Powers" are Super-Brain and Super-Science?
Also: I have always loved the design of Marvel's Armadillo character. Brings back memories of reading the Thing's solo series back in the day.

Yep; when the character rolls technology, he gets 3D, except for when he rolls robotics in which case he rolls 4D and keeps the best 3.

Officially no, you can't have any powers with the Normal Disad.
I personally would allow Normals to use powers as long as they have the Device limitation, but that's just me (and probably lots of other people). I'd probably not allow the limitation to give the power +1d though since the character is already "compensated" for being Normal.
As to having Super Brain and/or Super Science as a Normal, that's between you and your Judge, but once again, officially speaking, no you can't.

Cool, thanks for clearing things up. The Specialization mechanic makes a lot more sense now
