Re: 3rd Party forum?

Thanks to politicians gutting our military funding, I may have more time to work on a SUPERS! project.

What 3rd party material would people be most interested in seeing?

You guys flatter me... um... can you convey some of this love to my other boss. It would go a long way.

May have been mentioned, but Dustland and I produced an adventure supplement some time ago, using the Supers! Classic rules. I laid down a few pages to a follow up, but stalled on it. Maybe I'll wrap it up sometime and see what can be done with it. In the meantime, stay frosty, heroes!

This is where it's located. We published it some time ago, with permission from Simon. Dust was nice enough to release the artwork (but I still need to get him a commission if I ever fall into some additional dough--it was a lot of very fine work).

Fellow military man eh? Cool deal.

How about some bad guys... or girls. I know. Lets do a pin up calendar of EVIL! It could include supers stats and kicking art!

Re: 3rd Party forum?

I do have the plot overview for the next supplement I was working on, and the first 12 pages of said supplement. It piggy-backs on the Silver Age setting of "Bad Sports," using different locations in the mega-city. The original idea was to follow on with a series of "Bad" supplements (Bad Business, Bad Politics,Bad Medicine, etc.). Unfortunately, I have other projects going, so I'm not sure when I'll get back to it. It is also entirely possible I'll get inspire and spit it out quick. However, I am basing the supplements off the "Classic" rules set (with some optional rules conceived under the old Beyond Belief Threads, some by Dustland, a few by me [he graciously allowed me to pirate them for the supplement]).

Since anything new now belongs to Zenith, though, I am wondering if completing it using the Classic rules is something that would be worthwhile. In any case, I would need artwork, which I cannot really afford to pay for, so if I did anything with it, it would almost need a kickstarter behind it. And given the relative paucity of Supers fans compared to other systems, I don't know if there would be enough interest (no offense to Simon or anyone here, but the system has so flown under the radar, which is quite unfortunate, honestly, given how easy it sets up and so creatively plays).

Anywayz, that's where it stands now. I think the idea I have for supplement #2 is very good. Outside the writing, I'd have to solve the art problem, of course.

The only real difference between the classic and up coming revised editions will be clarifications and updates (like including vehicle rules and the power to make THE ULTIMATE PIZZA! Um...ok maybe not that last one but it sure would be handy on game night)

If you release a product using SUPERS!, it is your product. By folks publishing Supers material, we stay in the spotlight and word spreads. This is a great game and we want to do great things with it. While Zenith comics and HAZARD Std. Is at the heart of this... we can't do it without all of you, the blood that keeps SUPERS living. We also won't rush a product just to get our name out there.

Let us know if you need help getting something to
market. We love to hear what folks are planning so post, drop us a line, or show some previews.

Every bit of SUPER counts

Regards
Walt
