Re: TGI Presents: The SUPERVERSE
Dragonfly,
Don't worry about the delay; getting better is more important. As longs as you don't delay it as long as ICONS Team Up has been

Re: TGI Presents: The SUPERVERSE
Thanks urbwar,
The delay should be relatively short. I'm feeling much better from my illness, as is my family, and I made some real progress yesterday.
The write-ups for Manite and the Sire should be done TODAY! I then have to write an intro (should be easy enough), finish up the Optional Rule section (also easy enough), give the stats one last calibration, and then format the standees. That's one week's worth of work - tops - which makes sense, given that's how long I was sick.
The one thing that may push it over is coming up with adventure seeds (or a full adventure write-up), but I won't devote more than one additional week to that endeavor.
Best,
Dragonfly

Re: TGI Presents: The SUPERVERSE
Woo-ha!
It's good to be back in business. I just finished the last of the villain descriptions and am about to send 'em out to my buds for proof-reading.
I should be done by the weekend, unless I end up including those adventure hooks.
Best,
Dragonfly

And the cover is coming along...slowly...but I think it's going to rock! This is a cool set of villains you have here DF.

Re: TGI Presents: The SUPERVERSE
Hey Rus!
I'd say I'd race ya, but I don't want to rush you at the expense of quality. What I've seen so far is AMAZING, so I can only imagine what the final product is going to look like.
I'll be done with the optional rules section tonight for certain.
I'm aiming to have the intro section written by tomorrow. The standees should be done tomorrow as well.
After I'm done with that I'll be able to gauge whether or not I want to do the adventure seeds. At this point, I'm feeling like I want to try. I'm considering a one page adventure for each of the villains, but we'll see. No promises.
After that, it's all about the editing.
We are close. Very, VERY close. This'll be a January release for sure.
All the best,
Dragonfly

Re: TGI Presents: The SUPERVERSE
Hi TGI,
It's been a while since I posted something about Supers.
But just to tell you I'm glad that you are close to finish your new product and that you can count on me to buy a copy.

Re: TGI Presents: The SUPERVERSE
Hey novaexpress!
I've always appreciated your support, and I'm glad to see that you are still tuning in to the community.
I've had an intense day working on The Iron Gauntlet!
Layout is 99% done.
Both intros (the one to the product itself, and the set-up for the villain team) are written.
I forgot that I had to do Golden and Silver Age write-ups for some of the longer lived characters. Finished them all, except for Mammoth. I'll do him tomorrow.
The rules section is 99% done. I've written up some new Powers, Boosts, and Ads (not too many) that are used in the character write-ups. This also includes a section on Benchmarks for SUPERS!. All of that is done, except for one more table I need to populate.
I need to work on the standees, which shouldn't take me more than 20 minutes.
In short, I'll be done with the bulk of it tomorrow. After that all that I'm waiting for is the cover art and about 3 paragraphs of material that a friend is contributing for the "sneak peak" of our third product.
While I'm waiting on those, I'm going to take a crack at generating those adventure hooks that I've been flirting with.
Then, one more round of editing and we should be good to go.
BTW, I'd like to include advertisements for upcoming SUPERS! products from other parties. Urbwar, Russ, Hazard Studio - this means you! Send some flyers my way, if you'd like, and I'll include them at the end of The Iron Gauntlet.
If I'm lucky, it'll be ready by the end of next week.
All the best,
Dragonfly

Re: TGI Presents: The SUPERVERSE
Hey fellas!
An update: I got to the editing, and the text is much rougher than I thought. Nothing big, but I do need a few free hours to wordsmith the project. The only problem is that classes started for me anew (I'm a teacher) and this was week one. I'll PROBABLY be able to work on The Iron Gauntlet this weekend.
I'm also waiting on the cover art to be done (Dustland has I think two more villains to render), and a buddy of mine still has to contribute a couple of paragraphs for a villain he contributed.
The project is still 99% done, but it may take a week or two to get that last 1% done.
I'll keep you posted!
All the best,
Dragonfly
