Ladybug!
Okay, folks, here's a home-made character of mine. She is the daughter of two older superheroes. Her Mom, Dorothy Dekker, was the green Scarab, a gender-swapped stand-in for the Ted Kord Blue Beetle. Her dad is Gordon Vierra, a gender-swapped and currently wheelchair-using stand-in for Barbara Gordon. II'm not sure what his old hero ID used to be yet, but for now, he lends his amazing computer skills to his wife's company, Dekker Industries (and also to his rambunctious teenage superhero daughter).
I'm not sure of the daughter's name yet. Which last name she picks, or if she makes up her own, etc.
So, here's my character write up for Ladybug!
Ladybug
Real Name: TBA
Resistances:
Composure 2D
Fortitude 2D
Reaction 3D
Will 3D
Aptitudes:
Academia 3D
Athletics 2D
Fighting 2D
Technology 3D
Powers:
Armor 2D (Device: costume)
Flight 3D (Device: Bug-Pack, Limited Use: 4 rounds at a time, then must power down for at least 2 rounds, wings help her glide down during that time.)
Wall Crawling 2D (Device: Gloves/Shoes)
Energy Control: Air 3D (Device: Gauntlets, Knockdown 2, Area Effect +1)
Energy Control: Light 3D (Device: Gauntlets, Limited Use: Cannot do Fortitude/Physical Damage)
Super Brain 2D
Super Science 2D
Ads:
Allies
Hideout
Wealthy
Disads:
Minor
Enemy (Wild Bunch)
Total Cost: 26D (Res 6, Apt 6, Pow 13, Ads/Disads 1)
Competency Pool: 4D (Base 30)
She invented the bug pack because is no good at flying big bulky vehicles like her Mom's old Flying Scarab. The pack works on the same "air compressor" tech that her Air Gauntlets work on, and therefore can only be used for short bursts of flight.

Re: Ladybug!
The way the flight is designed it makes it seem like a jump pack. Very cool. Could pose some interesting Challenges for the one running her.

Re: Ladybug!
Yeah, it's kind of designed to be more of a jump pack than actual flight at the moment, to illustrate how she's still just starting out as a high-tech tinkerer.
I also added "minor" as a new Disad, since she still answers to her folks.
Thanks for taking a peek. More to come!

Re: Ladybug!
Thanks, Dragonfly! I have to edit her a bit, based on the fact that the Super-Brain power gives a character "free" dice in Academia and Technology, but other than that, she's all set. It was a fun experiment, basically seeing if I could create "Spider-Girl" in the DC Universe, but then just using "stand-ins" for the actual DC characters, etc.
