Re: Supers! Rules Clarifications
The power level of Regeneration is something the revision is hoping to address. I think bumping the cost is perfectly reasonable. What the ultimate solution ends up being will be influenced by the playtests, but the current revision has Regeneration as a roll to heal type power, mechanically similar to Healing.
I love using a Wild Die in my games! I I don't think it makes a huge difference, especially in higher dice games, but there's no denying the excitement of a rolling a 6

Re: Supers! Rules Clarifications
Hello Everyone,
I see some familiar people here from the BASH forums. I am a new convert to Supers! I have yet to play it, but I like what I see so far.
My question: I have seen write-ups with "Super Weapon" listed, but can find no mention of it in the rules or the Supers Supplement. Is this a houserule?

Re: Supers! Rules Clarifications
Hey Heroglyph...
Welcome aboard. Here we go: SUPERS! p. 21
quote: SUPER WEAPONRY
The character has some form of a weapon – it could be a gun, a bow or a
sword or it could be an extension of his own body, like claws or simply his
own fists. If it were the former, it automatically gets the device complicationand if it is only used in close fighting, it automatically gets the touch attack
complication.
Hope that helps. There will be more of that to chew on when RED (Revised EDition) launches.
Regards,
Walt

Re: Supers! Rules Clarifications
Hmmm..I must have an older version, because that definitely isn't listed in my PDF. I purchased it in 2010.
Thanks for posting it though.

You might have an older version; Simon combined the original rules with the companion when Cubicle 7 did the print distribution for the book. He updated the pdf, so you might have a copy from before the update

Re: Supers! Rules Clarifications
I know this is a really old post, but I thought I'd put my newbie input in as well.
I would handle weapons that you don't want Punisher running around with all the time as Super-Science, and just call it "Armory". Give it some appropriate limitations such as "Only military weaponry/technology". Then he could pull out the occasional bazooka or hi-tech device as his current mission dictates.

Yes but there is no ammo complication. Or an non-concealable one.
So absent those, how do you do it RAW without him having a Bazooka ALL the time?
That's my question.
